Studio Vibex ("we," "our," or "us") is highly committed to protecting your privacy and digital sovereignty. This Privacy Protocol explains how your personal information is collected, used, and secured by K-Swipe (the "App").
By initializing a session within K-Swipe, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Protocol.
1. Data Collection
To provide you with a personalized and highly responsive language-learning experience, we collect the strictly necessary information:
A. Identity Coordinates
- Email Address: Used as your primary identifier for authentication, residency recovery, and security checks.
- User IDs: Unique internal identifiers assigned to your account for system management.
- Profile Aliases: Your chosen username and your current linguistic proficiency level.
B. Performance & App interactions
- App interactions: We track your responses to learning cards (swipes) and boss level completions to power our Spaced Repetition System (SRS).
- Local Sovereignty (Device Storage): Your immediate study performance, word mastery algorithms, and XP points are stored locally on your device for maximum speed and privacy.
- Cloud Synchronization: Your local learning statistics, XP, and profile data are securely mirrored to our encrypted cloud framework.
2. Purpose of Processing
Your data powers the mechanics of the app. We use it for the following purposes:
- System Maintenance: Enabling authentication, syncing vocabulary progress, and managing your daily streaks.
- Algorithmic Refinement: Understanding overall progression to refine the app's difficulty scaling.
- Critical Comms: Sending essential security updates (e.g., OTP recovery codes). We do not use your email for marketing campaigns.
3. Security Protocols
- Infrastructure: We employ Supabase as our robust backend layer. All data transmitted between your device and the cloud is heavily encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption.
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Your data is shielded by strict RLS policies, ensuring that your learning metrics and profile can only be accessed or modified by your authenticated signature.
4. Third-Party Agents
Your data is yours. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only interface with our trusted infrastructure provider strictly to host the application database and manage identity verification.
5. Neural Dissolve & Data Rights
You maintain absolute authority over your records in District 01.
- Access: Your learning progress is entirely transparent and accessible directly within the App's UI.
- Total Purge (Account Deletion): You hold the power to permanently erase your existence from our grid at any time. This is done via the Profile settings ("Delete Account & Data" protocol).
- Manual Deletion Request: If you are unable to access the App, you may request the deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us directly at contact.isuruakalanka@gmail.com. We will process your request within 7 business days.
6. Youth Protection
K-Swipe does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from individuals under 13 years of age. If we detect unauthorized residency of a minor, we will immediately purge those records from the system.
7. Protocol Modifications
We may upgrade this Privacy Protocol periodically. You are advised to review this page occasionally for any systematic changes.
